We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst position, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The person in this role would be reporting to Financial Manager Ukraine and will assist with financial and operations data compilation and analysis. He/she will be deeply involved in the analytics of company professional service practices, data stream automation, modelling, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
– Compile projects operating data and statistics from company project management systems;
– Build multi-dimensional operating data pivot / summary tables showing performance of various company business units and project teams;
– Calculate KPI’s and metrics of performance of software engineering teams (schedule and cost variances, earned value, utilization and billability, quality of delivery);
– Analyze company costs and provide summary budget to actual variances to management;
– Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis models and revenue / cost variance reports to management;
– Support budget modelling, planning and forecasting process;
– Assist Financial Manager in monthly books closing and financial reporting.
Requirements:
– Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, pivoting and statistical functions in Excel;
– Experience with / exposure to web-based collaboration and project management software;
– Completed or close to completion (3rd year +) higher education in a technical major;
– Basic enterprise accounting and finance function and concepts understanding;
– Strong desire to learn and gain experience in an international high-paced professional services setting;
– Excellent communication skills – writing and oral, intermediate to fluent English is preferred, mastering English in this job is a critical condition for further professional development;
– Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness;
– Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
